Methinks and Siemens Healthineers have signed an agreement to explore collaboration to Deliver Next-Generation AI Stroke Solutions Worldwide

Madrid, Spain – 2nd October 2025 – Methinks, a pioneer in AI-driven healthcare solutions, today announced the signing of a collaboration agreement with Siemens Healthineers, market leader in medical and digital technologies for advanced diagnosis and therapies across the most critical healthcare conditions, to bring innovative digital solutions for stroke management to the Southern Europe market.

Both companies announced it at the opening of the new ‘Centre for the Adoption of AI in Healthcare’ held in Madrid (Spain), the first hub of Siemens Healthineers in the region that will not only drive the digital transformation of healthcare across Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain; but will also support hospitals, professionals, and healthcare institutions in adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) on a large scale.

On the one hand, Siemens Healthineers has focus on supporting stroke management through cutting-edge diagnosis equipment and digital tools to improve stroke diagnosis and reduce Time-To-Treatment. Siemens Healthineers solutions are already available in a strong installed base and have built a trusted reputation.

On the other one, Methinks’ advanced innovations on non-contrast AI modules plus its communication platform based on Microsoft Teams, complement this offering by expanding clinical capabilities to early assessment and network coordination.

Methinks and Siemens Healthineers have integrated the syngo.via neuro package platform and Methinks coordination platform and AI algorithms, creating a comprehensive solution for all hospitals  in Southern Europe and potentially beyond. Together, the companies are already collaborating in commercial opportunities across Southern Europe and will continue to explore joint go-to-market activities, co-marketing initiatives, and clinical validation projects—first across Europe and then worldwide.

Our vision is to enable life-saving stroke treatments worldwide. With Siemens, we have not only built an advanced AI and comprehensive platform in Microsoft Teams but are also working jointly on go-to-market opportunities. Partnering is crucial to scaling stroke care, and having the chance to work with Siemens in this endeavor is a privilege,” said Pau Rodríguez, CEO of Methinks.

We in Siemens Healthineers are committed to work and invest in bringing solutions capable of reducing mortality and disability caused by Stroke. Care coordination platforms, together with the power of Artificial Intelligence can make a big difference for all. In this regard, Methinks’ AI complements our digital stroke portfolio extremely well, and together we are building a scalable solution that meets our customers’ needs. This collaboration represents Siemens Healthineers' belief that innovation without adoption is just theory. Therefore, our joint focus goes beyond technology development; it is strategically aimed at ensuring successful integration into clinical practice, which is the core mission of our new ‘Centre for the Adoption of AI in Healthcare’" said David Labajo, Head of Digital & Automation SEU, Siemens Healthineers.

Officially based in Madrid, the centre is expected to have up to 120 professionals who will work in direct collaboration with the over 300 hospitals and health centres that Siemens Healthineers has relationships with the Southern Europe, which represents a unique opportunity for Methinks, since it will grant the company unprecedented access to a vast, established clinical network, enabling rapid and extensive real-world clinical validation of its AI solutions.

Amidst the accelerating digital transformation of healthcare, this partnership establishes a stable and scalable model for advanced stroke care across the region and for future markets. In fact, this announcement follows the FDA clearance of Methinks’ AI solution and a strategic distribution agreement with Medtronic in Central Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, further underscoring Methinks’ commitment to expanding access to stroke treatments globally.
